Brief info

AnaLogic allows the analysis of comparative microarray experiments and the tracking of all features from the slides to the original microtiter plates.

  • Import quantification data from virtually any image analysis software thanks to AnaLogic tool for defining quantification formats

  • Store the microarray images (TIFF of JPG formats) into AnaLogic's database

  • Extract relevant genes from replicated experiments by combining statistical criteria with classical biological thresholds and keyword searches

  • Several normalization methods including Ratios-based, Signal-based, lowess by slide and lowess by block can be quickly checked

Allows the analysis of comparative microarray experiments and the tracking of all features from the slides to the original microtiter plates.


The system provides two ways of selecting genes: by applying numerical or textual filters or manually (by clicking in any spot of the plot). A multi-zoom window is included to facilitate the navigation over the entire set of spots.

Four types of scatter-plots included:

  • Ratio (logarithmic) vs Signal (logarithmic MA plot).
  • Intensity vs Intensity (linear)
  • Intensity vs Intensity (logarithmic)
  • Fold change vs Signal

Additional features of module:

  • Export expression profiles ready to be used in other clustering tools
  • Generate final reports with the results (PDF format)
  • Fully integrated with the clonetracking system (modules PlateLogic and ArrayLogic)
